Product questions:

How and where do your produce your products ?
All our products are designed in Sweden. The Wet Pot planter is made in Portugal from 100% natural ingredients. The glass is made by hand and the clay origins from just outside the factory. We have a close relationship to our producers and visit them on a regular basis.

Can I use my Wet Pot planter outdoors?
Yes! Just make sure to bring it inside in case of minus degrees. If the water freezes it might break the pot.

What maintenance does the planter need?
More than refilling water you might want to wash up the glass cylinder now and then if you think it looks soiled. You can also wipe the outside of the clay pot if needed.

How does the Wet Pot planter work?
The bottom part of the terracotta is not glazed, which makes it porous and absorbent. When you fill the cylinder with water it is absorbed via the terracotta according to the needs of the plant. This is what we call a self-watering system.

Can I use fertilizers?
If you need fertilizer, there are sticks on the market you stick into the soil.

Can I use LECA in my Wet Pot planter?
We do not recommend LECA in the Wet Pot planter. The planter works best with normal soil.

There is mold/limestone in my Wet Pot planter, what should I do?
This is completely natural and this can happen if the planter is standing in direct sunlight. We recommend cleaning it with soap and water, this usually works very well. It’s important to use new soil in the planters.

 

The soil in my planter is super wet, what should I do?
In order for the Wet Pot System to work and thrive, you must pack the soil very tightly to the sides of the terracotta planter. Otherwise, there is a risk that too much water comes through the terracotta. When planting, you should also wait until the soil has dried before adding water to the cylinder.

What is your shipping policy?
We are a small family company and we pack everything ourselves, therefore packing and shipping time will vary between 4-7 days. If your delivery is urgent, please write to us at hello@wetpotsystems.com with your order number and we will try our best to accommodate! Thank you for your understanding!

Do you ship worldwide?
We ship within the European Union at this point. If you live in the US, you can order via our american retailer MoMA, see list of retailers for contact info.

How do I become a retailer?

What is your return policy?
If there is something wrong with your product or if you for any other reason wish to make a return, contact us at hello@wetpotsystemshello.com. We will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

I cracked the cylinder. Can I buy a replacement?
Yes, in our shop you can buy spare parts.
